Quickenings
Quickenings are powerful attacks that, if used correctly, can instantly change a battle. Using a quickening consumes a unit's Mist charge, which can be recharged by defeating enemies. Defeating certain boss monsters unlocks new quickenings.
Vaan: Pyroclasm
- Deal heavy damage to all foes in range.
- Obtained after beating Belias.
Penelo: Dance of Rapture
- Fully restore all allies' HP and remove all debuffs.
- Obtained after beating Ultima.
Kytes: Nature's Wrath
- Deal heavy elemental damage to all foes in range.
- Obtained after beating Chaos.
Filo: Wind Soul
- Allow allies to act immediately.
- Obtained after beating Mateus.
Lluyd: Fanfare
- Fortify all friendly Espers (granted an additional level).
- Obtained after beating Hashmal.
Balthier: Element of Treachery
- Deal heavy damage to one foe.
- Obtained after beating Shemhazai.
Fran: Gaze of the Void
- Remove buffs from all foes.
- Obtained after beating Exodus.
Ashe: Empyrean's Edict
- Prevent all foes from summoning Espers.
- Obtained after beating Famfrit.
Basch: Apocalypse Shield
- Nullifies all damage to leader's team in a short while.
- Obtained after beating Zalera.
