Grimoires
Upon completing certain tasks, Forgotten Grimoires will be made available
for purchase from the Bazaar. These tasks are usually very easy and can
be completed early in the game, but the Grimoires themselves are very pricey.
Once bought, these items automatically increase quality and frequency of
dropped loot from enemies. Each, excepting the Canopic Jar which works
on all, corresponds to a particular type of monster.
Canopic Jar:
Cost : 250,000 gil
Effect : Monsters will drop Arcana
Task : Sell Deimos Clay, Horakhty's Flame, Phobos Glaze
Dragoons Monograph:
Cost : 22,000 gil
Effects : Dragons, Plants
Task : Read Notice Board 40 times
Hunters Monograph:
Cost : 18,000 gil
Effects : Avians, Beasts
Task : Speak with Gatsly in Muthru Bazaar after defeating Thextara
Mark
Knights Monograph:
Cost : 19,000 gil
Effects : Giants, Insects
Taskr : Speak to Weapons merchant 30 times
Mages Monograph:
Cost : 21,000 gil
Effects : Fiends
Task : Speak to Magicks merchant 25 times
Sages Monograph:
Cost : 25,000 gil
Effects : Elementals
Task : Speak to any merchants 100 times
Scholars Monograph:
Cost : 22,000 gil
Effects : Constructs
Task : Speak to Armor merchant 15 times
Warmages Monograph:
