 Bottles
There are six bottles total in Majora's Mask, and your inventory just won't look as complete without all of them. They are listed in the order you can obtain them as you play the game, although it doesn't really matter. The required item is the main item you need in order to obtain the bottle. Only one will be listed. For example, if getting a certain bottle requires you to have the hookshot and be able to turn into a Zora, only the hookshot will be mentioned because the Zora Mask is required to obtain the Hookshot. Its just to give you a quick idea of if you're far enough yet to acquire that bottle.
Bottle #1- Must be normal Link. No required items. Talk to Koume in the Woods of Mystery, then go back to the potion shop. When you talk to Kotake she will give you a red potion and let you keep the bottle.
Bottle #2- Required item- Powder Keg. After defeating Snow Head Temple, spring will come to the mountains and many things will change. Destroy the giant boulder blocking the Goron Racetrack entrance with a Powder Keg. If you win the race the baby Goron will give you a bottle of gold dust, and let you keep the bottle. (Take the gold dust to the Mountain Village forge, if you're smart).
Bottle #3- Required item- Powder Keg. Blow up the boulder blocking Milk Road on the First Day using a Powder Keg purchased from the Goron at the bomb shop. Talk to Romani at the ranch and accept her offer. If you manage to stop the aliens from taking the cows, she will give you a bottle of milk, and let you keep the bottle.
Bottle #4- Required item- Hookshot. On the far south side of Zora Cape you will see an outcropping in the cliff face with a tree on it. Hookshot the tree. From that outcropping you will see another higher up. Keep going higher in this way until you get to the top. Talk to the Beaver Brothers and engage them in their game as a Zora. Beat both brothers to receive an empty bottle.
Bottle #5- Required item- Hookshot. Complete the Anju-Kafei sequence up to the point that Kafei has given you the special delivery letter to take to his mother. Give it to the Postman, then go to Ikana Canyon and help Kafei get his Sun's Mask back from Sakon. After you receive the Couple's Mask, talk to the Postman in East Clock Town, then go into the Milk Bar and talk to Madam Aroma. She will be so overjoyed she'll give you a bottle of Chateau Romani and let you keep the bottle. How you make the most of it in the last twilight moments are up to you.
Bottle #6- Required item- Captain's Hat. On the Night of the Third Day, talk to the Stalchildren in Ikana Graveyard while wearing the Captain's Hat. Drop down into the hole and have Dampe dig the sandy patches until a Big Poe comes out. If you win you will get the last bottle.
With six bottles total you can carry more stuff than ever before. If you plan on going up against Majora without the Fierce Diety's Mask, I recomend taking along four fairies and two blue potions, while under the influence of Chateau Romani. This is also a useful combination for Twinmold.
