 Suits
There are three upgrades to Samus's suit from the initial Power Suit.
Power Suit - The weakest suit, Samus is forced to revert to this version of her armor after the Varia Suit becomes damaged. It has low tolerance to heat and acid, and has relatively low defense capabilities.
Varia Suit - Found in Chozo Ruins once Flaahgra is defeated. It has better defenses than the Power Suit, and can tolerate extreme heats such as those found in Magmoor Caverns.
Gravity Suit - Found in the Gravity Chamber in Phendrana Drifts once the Ice Beam is obtained. It allows Samus to move around underwater as easily as through air.
Phazon Suit - Obtained after the Omega Pirate is defeated. It negates the harmful effects of most Phazon.
Fusion Suit - This suit only exists in appearance, when connected to Metroid Fusion. It has no special effects beyond those of Samus’s current suit upgrade.
