Characters

Samus Aran:
Species: Human
Origin: Earth
Affinity weapon: None
Alt. Form: Morph ball
Notes: Though Samus has no affinity weapon, she has two alt. form weapons. The morph ball bombs will detonate on contact with enemies or after a short delay. The morph ball charge will damage enemies upon colliding with them. Her charge missiles will also home in on enemies to a certain extent.

Sylux:
Species: Unknown
Origin: Cylosis
Affinity weapon: Shock Coil
Alt. Form: Lockjaw
Notes: In the hands of Sylux, the shock coil has the additional benefit of replenishing your own health at the same time as draining the enemy’s. Lockjaw places bombs not unlike Samus’, though they do not detonate after a period of time. Two bombs will form a tripwire which detonates the bombs if touched and three will immediately ensnare anyone who happens to be inside when the third is placed causing considerable damage. If no one is inside the three, the bombs will explode harmlessly.

Weavel:
Species: Cybernetic Space Pirate
Origin: Unknown
Affinity weapon: Battlehammer
Alt. Form: Half-turret
Notes: The battlehammer is a rapid fire, heavy-duty weapon with no charge capabilities. Halfturret allows Weavel to split into two pieces, one an immobile turret which fires battlehammer rounds at nearby enemies, which is useful for defending strategic points, and the other Weavel’s mobile body which has a limited close-range attack capability.

Noxus:
Species: Vhozon
Origin: Vho
Affinity weapon: Judicator
Alt. Form: Vhoscythe
Notes: The judicator ricochets off walls, making it ideal for small spaces, and a charge shot will encase the enemy in ice for several seconds, allowing you to deal further damage. The vhoscythe is difficult to control, but holding the attack button transforms it into a whirling blade dealing a good amount of damage to anyone it hits. Trace:
Species: Kriken
Origin: Kriken Empire
Affinity weapon: Imperialist
Alt. Form: Triskelion
Notes: The imperialist is the only weapon with a zoom function. It deals massive damage with a normal shot, but a headshot is a one-hit-kill every time. The imperialist receives less ammunition than other weapons per pickup. Trace’s defensive capabilities are lower than other characters’, but he makes up for this by being able to turn invisible when stood stationary for a moment. The triskelion is fast, manoeuvrable and has a moderately powerful charge attack.

Spire:
Species: Diamont
Origin: Mondreus
Affinity weapon: Magmaul
Alt. Form: Dialanche
Notes: The magmaul is a powerful weapon in its own right, but a charge attack will cover the enemy in flames causing ongoing damage for several seconds afterwards. Spire is immune to lava and the dialanche, being spiky, can climb vertical surfaces, albeit rather slowly. The dialanche attacks exactly the same way as the vhoscythe – hold attack down and collide into enemies.

Kanden:
Species: Enoema
Origin: A Sinister Laboratory
Affinity weapon: Volt driver
Alt Form: Stinglarva
Notes: The volt driver is quite powerful as a weapon, but charge attacks deal a lot of damage and cause static interference with the enemy’s visor making it hard to see. Over long distances, the charge shot also homes in on enemies exceptionally well, sometimes looping back on itself to follow them. This doesn’t work as well over shorter distances. The stinglarva isn’t especially manoeuvrable and drops a single regenerating bomb which homes in on enemies. This is particularly useful against enemies following you.
