Biggeron's Sword

The Trading sequence can be done rather fast, if you know where to go. All of the steps take place in the future, so don't worry about criss-crossing space and time making the sequence more complicated. Although that may have been more interesting... Some of the steps are timed, and none of the items you get have a practical use other than to be traded again for the next item. That is, until you reap the sweet, sweet fruit of your labor, the Biggeron's Sword, which does NOT break on anything that isn't an enemy.

Starting the Trading sequence- In order to get the first item in the sequence, talk to Anju, the chicken lady, in Kakariko Village in the future. She will give you the Pocket Cucco, take it down the way to the house near the entrance and wake up the sleeping Talon like you did as a child. Go back to Anju again and she will give you Cujiro, the BLUE CHICKEN! It's probably genetically engineered, or a deformed descendant of Chocobos. Either way, don't let it's BLUE startle you.

Cujiro, the BLUE Chicken- Go to the Lost Woods and swing a hard right, you should find Anju's brother sleeping by a tree. Use Cujiro to wake him up, and then take the Odd Mushroom.

Odd Mushroom- As quick as you can, take the Odd Mushroom to the old lady's potion shop in Kakariko. You have 3 minutes before you have to start over. She will give you the Odd Potion if you make it to her in time.

Odd Potion- Take the odd potion back to Anju's brother, or in this case, the next best thing, which happens to be a little Kokiri girl standing where he used to be. She will take the potion from you though, and give you the Poacher's Saw in exchange.

Poacher's Saw- Go to the Gerudo Valley, and before doing anything else, jam hard to the second best Zelda music ever. Once you're satisfied, go and speak to the boss carpenter, you'll need Epona to get there if you haven't already saved the 4 carpenter brothers. He will give you the Broken Goron's Sword. You hold above your head the very foundation upon which the Biggeron's Sword shall be built upon. Feel proud.

Broken Goron's Sword- Carrying your Broken Goron's Sword and your pride, trek up to the summit of Death Mountain. You could always warp there, but trekking is much more dramatic. On the far right of the mountain top, you will be harassed by a giant Goron who has the nerve to pop up over the edge and freak the crap out of you. Reprimand him a bit for being so big and scary, then show him the Broken Goron's Sword. However, he claims his eyes are bothering him. Way to go, you made him cry. He gives you a prescription for eye drops.

Prescription- Take the prescription to the Zora King, and brace yourself- you will be getting the Biggeron's Sword within the next 10 minutes. I'd ready Epona outside the Domain if I were you. The Zora King gives you an Eyeball Frog.

Eyeball Frog- You have nay but 3 minutes to transfer the Eyeball Frog to the Lakeside Laboratory, and give it to the vertically challenged Marine Biologist. He will use it to make some Goron eyedrops.

Eyedrops- Quick as a bunny, you have 4 minutes to get these to Biggeron. I have never managed to do this step without using Epona. Once you get there, he gives you a Claim Check. You don't really need to trade this or anything. Once you get the check, warp to somewhere else, and play the Sun's Song a few times. Then warp back, or trek back, whichever works for you, and exchange the claim check for the Biggeron's Sword! Hurray! I myself prefer the Broken Giant's Knife, but whatever. You can't have them both.
