A long, long time ago, the land of Hyrule, blessed by the three golden goddesses, was a land at peace. But one day a wicked man from the desert appeared and began searching for the doorway to the Sacred Realm where the Golden Power, the Triforce, lay hidden. Chosen for his courage, Link was tasked with preventing this evil man from ever entering the sacred realm of legend and obtaining the devine relic.
Ocarina of Time is by far the most renown of the Legend of Zelda series. Ocarina of Time Master Quest- a much more difficult version of the original, ported to the GameCube and given a slightly better graphics engine- was offered as a free gift along with a GameCube version of the unaltered original for preordering the upcoming Wind Waker. There were a few other ways to acquire it, and today it's not too hard to find a used copy somewhere. The monsters are harder, there are new and more of them, a few of the puzzles have received an upgrade as well. It may not be a totally new game, but any fan of the original should definitely try it out.
