Team Snagem Bosses

Miror B.'s Team, First Time
Ludicolo Lv.29
Ludicolo Lv.30
Ludicolo Lv.28
Ludicolo Lv. 31
Sudowoodo Lv. 35 (Shadow)
His team relies heavily on the Rain Dance move, so use it to your advantage to give Flaafy's electric moves 100% accuracy. The only type you have that will do tons of damage to them at the moment is flying, so use your Noctowl and Swablu to their full potential. Don't let Noctowl faint, you will need its Hypnosis to use on Sudowoodo. Sudowoodo is very hard to snag, so be very careful and use your Pokeballs wisely.

Dakim's Team, First Time
Golem Lv. 38
Metang Lv. 37
Swampert Lv. 36
Camerupt Lv. 38
Entei Lv. 40 (Shadow)
This is going to be your toughest battle yet. No question. Grass types will be very effective on Swampert on Golem, but their low defense will make them not very useful. Ground and Water moves will be your best bet, so Quagsire would be a very useful advantage if you trained him up earlier. Entei is also the toughest Shadow Pokemon yet to catch, so be sure to have plenty of Pokeballs.

Venus' Team, First Time
Delcatty Lv. 45
Banette Lv. 45
Steelix Lv. 45
Vileplume Lv. 44
Suicune Lv. 40 (Shadow)
This battle shouldn't be too hard. Fire moves will easily destroy Steelix and Vileplume. Take out Delcatty with Fighting, unless it’s out with Banette, because that’ll give you a serious disadvantage. Just be careful not to knock out Suicune, because you will have to wait a while to have another chance to catch him.

Ein's Team, First Time
Altaria Lv. 46
Lanturn Lv. 47
Huntail Lv. 47
Golbat Lv. 48
Raikou Lv. 40 (Shadow)
Ein is pretty tough. Electric moves are your best bet on all of them except Raikou and Lanturn. Lanturn’s only weakness is Ground, but Ground itself is weak against Water. So use a Pokemon that isn’t Ground type but knows a Ground move (such as Earthquake or Dig). The Raikou is also extremely hard to catch because he is easy to knock out and is also very resistant to any kind of Pokeball.

Mirror B.'s Team, Second Time
Loudred Lv.46
Ludicolo Lv. 44
Golduck Lv. 45
Ludicolo Lv. 45
Armaldo Lv. 45 (Alternate: Shadow Sudowoodo Lv. 35)
If you failed to snag the Sudowoodo the first time, he will not have the Armaldo, instead you will get a second chance at Sudowoodo. He shouldn't be too hard this time. Flying still takes out his Ludicolos, and the Golduck and Armaldo are easily removed with Grass moves. If you got the Sunflora already or chose Bayleef, Sunny Day followed by a few Solar Beams is the way to go.

Dakim's Team, Second Time
Whiscash Lv. 46
Forretress Lv. 45
Flygon Lv. 46
Claydol Lv. 46
Houndoom Lv. 47 (alternate: Shadow Entei Lv. 40)
Like Mirror B., Entei will be available to catch again if you failed the first time, instead of Houndoom. This guy is still relatively hard. All of his team knows Earthquake, so electric types are definitely out of the picture. If you have a good flying type or something with the ability Levitate, use it to its full ability. Whiscash will be the most annoying here, so use Sunflora's Solar Beam to one-hit KO it and then swap him out before the other one can kill it with Earthquake.

Venus's Team, Second Time
Wigglytuff Lv. 48
Bellosom Lv. 47
Raichu Lv. 48
Misdreavus Lv. 47
Milotic Lv. 48 (alternate: Shadow Suicune Lv. 40)
I would swear Venus just got even easier than she was before. That is so sad. None of her team has a common weakness, so you'll have to do some swapping, and watch out for Attract. Anybody with the oblivious ability is good here. Other than that she shouldn't be much of a problem. Milotic may seem tough, but Thunder or Solar-Beam can do it in quick.

Ein's Team, Second Time
Manectric Lv. 50 (alternate: Shadow Raikou Lv. 40)
Pellipepper Lv. 49
Rhyhorn Lv. 50
Starmie Lv. 49
Crobat Lv. 49
For some reason Starmies that know Thunder are very popular. And you won't be able to use Thunder yourself if Rhyhorn is out because of its Lightning Rod ability. Take out Rhyhorn with Solar-Beam or Surf and then use thunder to finish the rest.

Gonzap's Team, First Time
Shiftry Lv. 53
Crawdaunt Lv. 52
Hariyama Lv. 53
Pincer Lv. 52
Skarmory Lv. 47 (Shadow)
You are going to want a strong Psychic move on a non Psychic Pokemon, A strong Electric move, and a very strong fire move. Shiftry will in all likelihood give you the most trouble unless you chose Quilava at the beginning and kept it with you, or have been training Entei. The Misdreavus (if you held onto it) can learn Thunder, making it the prime way of taking out Hariyama (with a psychic move), Pincer (with Thunder or a psychic move), and Crawdaunt (with Thunder). Careful with Skarmory, he's pretty hard to catch, but useful if you take the time to purify him before going further.

The next four battles will be fought one right after the other with no chance to heal in-between.

Body Builder Jomas
Zangoose Lv. 45
Porygon 2 Lv. 45
Miltank Lv. 48 (Shadow) (alternate: Exploud)
If you held on to your first shadow pokemon, Makuhita, it should be a Hariyama by now. Either him or a Normal type with a strong Fighting type move should do the trick. Miltank is hard to catch, so give it a rendering status ailment such as sleep or freeze while working on getting its HP into the red zone. It's almost impossible to catch otherwise.

Rider Delan
Sharpedo Lv. 47
Mightyena Lv. 46
Absol Lv. 46 (Shadow) (alternate: Sneasel)
Heracross and someone with a strong Electric move is the perfect thing for this battle. Heracross will take out mightyena with either a strong Bug move or a strong Fighting move, and Sharpedo is not very strong in the Sp. Defense area. One Thunder should do the trick. Absol's base attack power is out of this world, and then when it uses Sword's Dance… whoa. To keep him busy just confuse him, his own attack power will take about 1/4 his HP if he hits himself. Just put him to sleep or catch him before he kills himself.

Cipher Peon Nella
Torcoal Lv. 47
Mascargo Lv. 46
Houndoom Lv. 48 (Shadow) (alternate: Camerupt)
Surf is your best friend. Mantine, Feraligatr, or Suicune will come in handy here. Of course, you're trying to catch the Houndoom, not kill it, so use the same strategy as you did with Absol. Only Houndoom's Attack and Defense stats are more balanced than Absol's so it won't be as easy to catch, and it won't do as much damage to itself when confused. Afterwards you should be able to win this battle easily in just two Surfs.

Cipher Peon Ston
Cacturn Lv. 49
Vileplume Lv. 48
Craydilly Lv. 48
Tropius Lv. 49 (Shadow)
The last of the first four, if you win this battle then all of your Pokemon will be fully healed for the next battle, so don't loose this one. Fire, fire, fire. And Ground for the Craydilly. If you trained up the Slugma and now have a Magcargo it will be perfect, or Quilava (Typhlosion) with the Dig move. You'll want to give Tropius a status ailment right off the bat, and confuse it to boot. When its down in the red zone try and catch it, any before that will just be waste. There is the small chance (there always is) that you'll catch with a normal Pokeball at full health, but I doubt it. Speaking of full health, Tropius has a habit of using Synthesis right after you get it to a good snagging point, so don't miss any opportunities.

Nascour's Team
Xatu Lv. 54
Gardivour Lv. 55
Blaziken Lv. 54
Walrein Lv. 56
Dusclops Lv. 55
Metagross Lv. 50 (Shadow)

The first time you fight him it will be in this order, but after that it will be random, so take advantage of having two of the same type out at once. Xatu and Gardivour are both Psychic type, so Dark, Bug, or Ghost moves will do the trick. A Dark type is also useful because Psychic will have no effect. If you trained up the Sneasel from the Under, he's the best for this, with Ice moves for Xatu, Dark moves for Dusclops and Gardivour, and Water moves for Blaziken. Absol as well, seeing as it can learn Thunder, Blizzard, and Fire Blast, just like Furret. Enough of my fancy strategy, all you really need is a well-balanced and well-trained team. Save your Master Ball though….

Mayor's Team
Slowking Lv. 61
Machamp Lv. 61
Scizor Lv. 60
Salamence Lv. 60
Slaking Lv. 60
Tyranitar Lv. 55 (Shadow) (alternate: Lv. 60 Aggron)
This battle's main strategy follows the same as when you fought Nascour. All you need is a well-trained and balanced team. Psychic is useful for Machamp, Thunder for Scizor and Slowking, Blizzard for Salamence, and any good fighting move for Slaking. So if you know any two Pokemon that can learn all of those moves when put together, you've got your wonder team. Tyranitar would be the best choice for you Master Ball if you've hung onto it, just be careful to win after snagging him, cause if you lose, then the next time around you'll have to deal with a Steel type that is 5 levels higher.
