 Characters
Leon Scott Kennedy - The protagonist of RE4.Leon was also one of the main characters in RE2.So Leon is assigned by the President to come rescue his daughter from her Los Illuminados. You play as Leon during the entire game.
Ashley Graham - Ashley is the President’s daughter. She was kidnapped by Krauser for Saddler. They planned on injecting her with Las Plagas and then sending her back to the United States to wreak havoc. Through many chapters you protect Ashley. She is extremely and has no weapons.
Ada Wong - Another character from RE2. Ada is working for Wesker (see below) and came to Pueblo on his command. Ada often gets you out of some tough situations. Without her you would probably die many times. You play as Ada during Assignment Ada (which you unlock after you beat the game. See Unlockables). During that you learn her mission of collecting Plaga samples. She removed the Plaga eggs from Luis Serra (see below)
Luis Serra - Hey look, it’s Aragorn. Wait no….Luis was a researcher for Los Illuminados. He helped them weaponize the Plagas. Yet he realized he was doing wrong and escaped with a Plaga Sample. He was a cop for a long time in Madrid. He also gets you out of some bad situations. Sadly Luis is killed by Saddler (see below) while trying to help you.
Osmond Saddler - The leader of Los Illuminados. Saddler is a jerk. He really is. His plan was to gain control of the President through Ashley and then take control of the rest of the government through that. If that didn’t work he was just going to create chaos and then come in as the saving angel. Saddler can control any one with Plaga in them. Saddler is the final Boss in the game (See Boss Fights).
Bittores Mendez - You would think considering the fact that he’s on the front of the game he would be really important. He isn’t. Mendez is the leader of the village and seems incredibly pissed off. He is one of the Bosses in the game (See Boss Fights).
Ramon Salazaar - If you haven’t played this game then you have no idea how annoying he is. Salazaar while he could be 8 or 80 is actually 20. He’s like a dwarf or something. Salazaar’s family destroyed the Los Illuminados long ago and kept the Plagas locked up. Saddler converted Salazaar and then unleashed Las Plagas. Salazaar is the 8th Castellan of the Castle and is always flanked by 2 Verdurgo (See Boss Fights). Salazaar is also a Boss (See Boss Fights).
Drivers - These are two Policeman who drive you to Pueblo. They make fun of you for being American. One is killed by the Ganados (See Enemies) and the other by Del Lago (See Boss Fights).
Mike - Mike is a helicopter pilot who blew up lots of buildings and pretty much saved you from certain death yet a Zealot (See Enemies) with a Rocket Launcher finished him off.
Jack Krauser - Krauser is really really cool. He and Leon knew each other yet Leon was told he was killed in a plane crash two years before RE4. He was the one that kidnapped Ashley. While he thinks Saddler is paying him it was really Wesker (See Below). You fight Krauser twice (see Boss Fights).Both time are incredibly fun.
Albert Wesker - Wesker was once a researcher for Umbrella yet through the intake of many viruses (T, G, Veronica) Wesker has been transformed. He has appeared in numerous RE games. Wesker employed both Krauser (See Above) and Ada (See Above). He seems to have wanted the Plagas to restart Umbrella and that is his current goal.
Mr. Merchant - A strange guy who sells and upgrades your weapons. I’ve heard that he’s a Ganado(see Enemies) or just comes from a big family of Merchants. Either way he’s very helpful.
